Sathya Sai Baba predicted that he would live 96 years.

He , unfortunately died, at 84.

He would have lived 96 years, had he avoided getting admitted to an Intensive Care Unit or a Super Speciality Hospital.

REASONS

*Bodies of nature (animal, human, plant) have an infinite innate strength of 'resilience'. Our bodies are like rubber balls. Rubber Balls rise up with equal force and speed, when they are hit to the earth. There is a lot of mathematical logic in the behavior of balls. Human bodies too react with 'resilience' when hit by an ailment. They have their own mathematical logic. Cure may take a range of time: 1 minute to several years. The only hitch here is our body should have the ability to survive till the natural correction mechanism corrects the error in our health scenario. This need for 'time to resist and stay aboard' defines the scope of the medical treatment we need.

*The body may not survive till the natural correction takes place, if there is under-treatment. Millions of poor patients die because of under-treatment. They get under-treated because long-term medical treatment is unaffordable.

*Over-treatment both through surgical procedures, use of artificial equipment like ventilators, pacemakers etc., and continuous administration of chemical drugs (oral as well as injective) will disturb the natural cure mechanism of the body. Our bodies are not inert static masses of just blood, bones, fat and flesh. They are dynamic forces active every moment.

Rich and Influential patients get 'over-treated'. Hospitals, physicians, specialists and surgeons do not mind over-treating, as long as somebody guarantees them payment of fees and taking delivery of the dead body when done with. The Hospitals and doctors will be under pressure to show excess care from relatives, fans, Government Officials and numerous others who have
interest in the survival of the patient.

*Had Sathya Sai Baba been a person of moderate or a slightly higher means, he would not have been under-treated or over-treated. This would have made the body to survive till the natural correction mechanism fought the disease out and helped Baba to live the 96 years he expected.

His blind devotees, have thus become, his undertakers.

Whatever the religious and spiritual implications of Sri Satya Sai Baba (SSSB), he did achieve the glory of a Moghal king that ruled India and lived the life of a Paadusha (Badshah). Imagine stashing 11 crores of loose cash in the office room, along with 100 kg gold. By some accounts his personal conduct over the years was no less indulgent. In a way he did restore the glory of moghal kings or close to home their once representative Nizam. Placed in a bank the 15 crores of wealth could be earning about one crore rupees in interest per year. This disclosed wealth seems to be only the tip of the iceberg. 049 We now need 24 Sherlock Holmes

Readers may please recollect that at my blogpost No. #038 here, I wrote that we need a dozen Sherlock Holmes to investigate into the affairs at Puttaparthi. Now, some snakes have come out of the molehills at penugonDa, the seat of Late kALESwar's dwelling (I cannot call it hermitage, because hermitages are supposed to be in thatched huts and not in mansions and palaces). While the brother's wife of Late kALEshwar said that there were suspicious circumstances in his death, kALEshwar's father said that he didn't find any suspicious circumstances in his son's death. The Officials of the Government of Andhra Pradesh claimed that they were acting as per the instructions of their superiors. We do not know what the instructions of their superiors were.
