I saw a Baba-supporting-participant on a Telugu TV Channel , on around 15th April 2011, arguing as under:


It is true that Sathya Sai Super Specialities Hospital does not accept 'high risk patients'. Reason: They have only one cardiologist. It will be a burden for the only one cardiologist in the hospital to handle high-risk cases. Naturally they have to take only low risk patients.

THIS BLOGGER'S OBSERVATIONS
*We imagine that Sathya Sai Super Specialities Hospital is a great giant. Now the fact: What type of Super Specialities Hospital is it, if it has only one cardiologist? Many District Head Quarters Towns in India have both Private and Government Hospitals which have only one 'cardiologist'. The Government Hospitals do not discriminate between high risk and low risk patients. They treat high risk patients also free. Yet they get no publicity or propaganda. They do not force the patients to chant the name of the Baba every day. They do not restrict the admissions only to the fanatic-devotees of Baba network. Anybody is equally welcome. Of course, there is some corruption, which is to be weeded out. This is a larger issue to be discussed separately.

*Sathya Sai Super Specialities Hospital will have a high rate of success because they admit only low risk patients. And all such treated low-risk patients coo Baba's praise stating that they have been cured by the miraculous powers of Baba, and become a part of the propaganda network.

Compare these few hundred low risk fellows with the number of persons helped by the Government under Arogya Sri Scheme.

*How many million dollars Baba or his Trust would have minted from foreign devotees during all these years, showing one piece of 'exhibit'? It is like a beggar exhibiting an 'orphan corpse' on the pavement and collecting donations from passers by.

Whatever the religious and spiritual implications of Sri Satya Sai Baba (SSSB), he did achieve the glory of a Moghal king that ruled India and lived the life of a Paadusha (Badshah). Imagine stashing 11 crores of loose cash in the office room, along with 100 kg gold. By some accounts his personal conduct over the years was no less indulgent. In a way he did restore the glory of moghal kings or close to home their once representative Nizam. Placed in a bank the 15 crores of wealth could be earning about one crore rupees in interest per year. This disclosed wealth seems to be only the tip of the iceberg. 049 We now need 24 Sherlock Holmes

Readers may please recollect that at my blogpost No. #038 here, I wrote that we need a dozen Sherlock Holmes to investigate into the affairs at Puttaparthi. Now, some snakes have come out of the molehills at penugonDa, the seat of Late kALESwar's dwelling (I cannot call it hermitage, because hermitages are supposed to be in thatched huts and not in mansions and palaces). While the brother's wife of Late kALEshwar said that there were suspicious circumstances in his death, kALEshwar's father said that he didn't find any suspicious circumstances in his son's death. The Officials of the Government of Andhra Pradesh claimed that they were acting as per the instructions of their superiors. We do not know what the instructions of their superiors were.
