001 Sathya SAI BABA AND COSMIC VISION FIASCO


The high drama at the Puttaparti Airport, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh, India on October 4, 2007 is worth noting. 1. Shri Anil Kumar, the translator of Shri Satya Sai Baba was reported to have announced on the Public Address System that Baba would show his cosmic form (vis`va ruupa)in the evening by appearing on the "MOON". 2. This raised curiosity of devotees at Puttaparti and the villagers in the surroundings. They thought that Baba would literally appear on the sky from the moon which is impossible in reality. Such is the blind faith!

3. In the evening Shri Baba went to the airport. As the sky was cloudy, he waited in his car for nearly an hour. In the meantime, the crowd became restive and jostled with one another to have a glance of Baba. Some people claimed trees, hill tops and waited patiently to have a look at the Cosmic Vision.

4. After some time, Shri Sai coolly left the place in car with the help of police.

5. The local vernacular TV channels reported the news. The New Indian Express, Vijayavada Edition has also reported the news.

6. If Shri Baba is really capable of performing a miracle of appearing from the moon, it is well and good. It will be apt for Shri Baba to come out frankly what was his idea of showing the Cosmic form to the devotees and the people. He has to clear the air. Otherwise, he will be misunderstood.

Hello boss,
your report is incomplete, between what is reported in point 3 and point 4, baba wanted to come out of car and tried to do so a couple of times in different parts of the airport, before hysteric crowds around the car made it physically impossible for it happen. and Only after repeated requests were made to baba by the people around him that the crowd has become uncontrollable, he left to his abode.

Thank you very much. However, there will not be much difference. Did the people expect Shri Baba to physically move to the sky and appear on the moon? I hope they did not. Hence, moving out of the car is not an essential prerequisite.

Was there an expectation that Baba's image would appear on the moon? May be there was.

A person who is capable of his image appearing on the moon, can as well clear the clouds and enable the cosmic vision to be shown even when the sky is overcaste. Capability in one area should automatically extend to associated areas.

Anyway let us not pre-decide or pre-judge that Shri Sai Baba is incapable of showing his Cosmic Vision. Let us hope, that he will select another day to prove his miraculous powers, without using laser shows of the Afro-Asian Games vintage.

024 Temple did not materialise even when Bhagawan laid the foundation stone!

Mr. Ramana Dikshitulu, the Chief Priest of the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple said (Vaartha Telugu Daily 26-04-2011) that Mr. Sathya Sai Baba visited Tirupati and Tirumala in 1947. He laid a foundation stone for building a Shirdi Sai Temple at Bhavani nagar , on a vacant site of 0.5 acre donated by the father of Shri Ramana Dikshitulu. The Trustees of the Temple, according to Shri Ramana Dikshitulu, sold away the site, without building the Temple. ybrao-a-donkey's views which are not intended to be imposed on others Important questions which arise: 1. Whatever the religious and spiritual implications of Sri Satya Sai Baba (SSSB), he did achieve the glory of a Moghal king that ruled India and lived the life of a Paadusha (Badshah). Imagine stashing 11 crores of loose cash in the office room, along with 100 kg gold. By some accounts his personal conduct over the years was no less indulgent. In a way he did restore the glory of moghal kings or close to home their once representative Nizam. Placed in a bank the 15 crores of wealth could be earning about one crore rupees in interest per year. This disclosed wealth seems to be only the tip of the iceberg.
