ASTRONOMY We need not doubt the astronomical calculations of our great ancient astronomers like Varaaha Mihira. They were able to calculate sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, eclipses, raasi, lagna timings very accurately. We can wonder, that they had done it very accurately, at a time when there were no satellites and telescopes....
