024 Temple did not materialise even when Bhagawan laid the foundation stone!

Mr. Ramana Dikshitulu, the Chief Priest of the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple said (Vaartha Telugu Daily 26-04-2011) that Mr. Sathya Sai Baba visited Tirupati and Tirumala in 1947. He laid a foundation stone for building a Shirdi Sai Temple at Bhavani nagar , on a vacant site of 0.5 acre donated by the father of Shri Ramana Dikshitulu. The Trustees of the Temple, according to Shri Ramana Dikshitulu, sold away the site, without building the Temple.

Important questions which arise:
1. Temples do not get built even if the self-proclaimed God lays the foundation-stone.
2. Land gets sold by the Trust.
3. It is not clear why Late Sathya Sai Baba did not take interest in pursuing the construction of the Temple.
4. Whether he knew that the land was sold away.

After getting himself established as God, did Sathya Sai Baba lose interest in Shirdi Sai Baba?

5. Why didn't Sathya Sai Baba take interest?
Ans: Shri Baba might have started believing that he himself has become the God, and that he might not no longer require the support of Shirdi Sai Baba.

Coolly losing interest in Gurus, after getting self-glory, is not uncommon.

This type of coolly dropping the benefactors, usually happens in the arena of politics (e.g. Hon. Narendra Modi setting aside his Gurus Shri Vajpayee, Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, after he himself becoming Prime Minister. Late Indira Gandhi, setting aside Veteran Leaders like Kamaraj Nadar, after she herself becoming Prime Minister ), and is rare in Spiritual Domain. From a study of the Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda, I could not stop entertaining a feeling within myself, that Swami Vivekananda gradually lost interest in his Guru Ramakrishna, after Vivekananda himself became a global Swamiji.

6. Why Shri Sathya Sai Baba didn't visit Tirumala Temple again in the next 65 years though it is not far away from Puttaparthi?

Ans: He had, during these 65 years, time to visit Kodai Canal, WhiteField, Bangalore every summer using air-conditioned cars or chartered planes. Probable reasons: 1) Baba might have thought that since he himself was the God, there would be no need of visiting another God. Baba started building the Temple for himself in 1950, at present popular as Kulvantarai Mandir. This dwelling has a 'vimana' (dome of the sanctum sanctorum) resembling the domes of most Temples). That means, when a person establishes himself as a God, even traditional Gods and Goddesses may become somewhat less relevant.

2) Baba might have thought that he would not receive
the honors of a 'God'. He might have felt that he would be treated like other monks.

3) It might have been difficult for him to follow Tirumala Temple's Customs, because Baba himself started imposing his own customs on pilgrims visiting Puttaparthi.

Yes, Sai Baba has definitely shown light to many devotees and has shown many miracles... Feels good to be talking to a person who has witnessed it with his own eyes!! All baba temple trust
Sir: Late Shri Sathya Sai Baba ought to have shown one more miracle or generosity of purchasing back the site sold by the persons who sold away the donated site, and building the Shirdi Sai Temple which Shri Ramana Dikshitulu envisaged.
